Interstate Manufacturing Associates, Inc. is located in Sunapee, NH as of May 2018, before which it was located in Newport, NH since 1984. Since our inception, Interstate Manufacturing has provided custom precision-machined parts and welded assemblies to our customers. Most of our work has been related to the gas turbine industry where quality, price, and delivery of product are of utmost concern. Our capabilities include CAD/CAM design and programming and both manual and CNC turning and milling. Other services we offer include cutting, bending, grinding, finishing, welding and assembly. Between our in-house capabilities and those of our numerous associates in related metal-working fields, we can manufacture nearly anything that you could ask of us from prototype to production.
With our capabilities and experience we have machined aluminum alloys; brass and bronze alloys; high and low carbon steel alloys; 300 series stainless steel; 400 series stainless steel; high temperature exotic steels; and plastics/polycarbonate. We have trusted and qualified suppliers for our raw materials including plate and bar stock, castings, and forgings, as well as reliable vendors for consumables and hardware to ensure that every part that leaves our doors will meet or exceed the specific requirements of our customers.
In addition to the custom precision jobs we do for many of our customers, we are proudly the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of the Boss Hinge, a heavy-duty yet elegant hinge of superior design and excellent quality and workmanship for the ornamental iron industry. In addition to our many and varied standard hinges, we are happy to work with our customers on custom hinge solutions for each individual need.
